• Advocate

    Direct Service
    Provide advocacy for victims of domestic and sexual violence and   support services in Umatilla and Morrow Counties
    Provide services at Advocacy Centers and shelters
    Respond to clients in crisis
    Provide safety planning, case management and advocacy
    Provide Life Skills classes and support groups
    On call on a rotating basis
    Provide part-time advocacy services at the Oregon Department       of Human Services in Boardman and Hermiston:
    Provide direct services for ODHS clients that may have      experienced domestic violence or sexual assault
    Provide education for ODHS Child Welfare and Self-Sufficiency staff regarding domestic violence/sexual assault
    Provide information about DVS’ programs
    Keep accurate records and statistical information
    Participate in training
    Assist with events
    Some college preferred
    Bi-lingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred
    Computer skills: Word, Excel
    Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record
    Must pass background and drug test
    Non-exempt, full-time
    Start at $15 - $16 per hour depending on qualifications
