    SUMMARY:
    Operates, sets up, cleans, and analyzes operations of equipment used in the processing line from product
    evenflow to the finished box. This includes but is not limited to; Evenflow, Dicer, Conveyors, Shaker Tables,
    Electronic Defect Removal System, Food Pump, Blancher, Chiller, Vacuum, Freeze Tunnel. In addition to the
    duties of the Shift Operations Supervisor this position includes Training of other persons in this position,
    Coordinating maintenance activities and communicating with management needs and concerns. Supports all
    programs and policies that ensure that product is of the highest quality, meets specifications and is safe, legal and
    wholesome.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Provides training and supervision to insure that employee are performing assigned work properly.
    Inspects equipment and ensures that glass and glass like items like plexi glass are intact and not broken or
    damaged. Reports and findings of issues and takes corrective action. See Glass Policy.
    Monitors production to insure that safety, quality and cost standards are maintained. Evaluates subordinate
    performance, communicate with employees and provide information on improvement.
    Enforces company work rules and safety guidelines.
    Performs finished product quality analysis and documentation that finished products meet or exceed
    specifications.
    Complete shift reports daily.
    Sanitation activities for the production line at each clean up period.
    Review production schedule to ensure proper packaging, identification and stacking are provided.
    Ensures proper sanitation and cleaning practices are done as scheduled.
    Assists in the investigation of issues to determine root cause and prevention ideas.
    Must be able to start and operate the equipment on the processing line within 15 days meeting company
    production throughput and recovery expectations.
    Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
    Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine
    operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
