    Umatilla Electric Scholarship Umatilla Electric Scholarship

    UEC helps local students achieve their career dreams through the UEC Scholarship Program. Each year we award up to $50,000 to deserving students. 
    Scholarships are available in three categories: Academic, Engineering and Lineman Trade. Visit the UEC website for for information on how to apply.

    Good Shepherd Community Health Foundation Scholarship Good Shepherd Community Health Foundation Scholarship

    The Good Shepherd Community Health Foundation offers scholarships in three separate program; one for high school seniors, one for medical students having successfully completed one year of college, and another for medical professionals currently working for Good Shepherd Health Care System.     Red & Gena Leonard Foundation Scholarship Red & Gena Leonard Foundation Scholarship

    The Red & Gena Leonard Foundation is accepting scholarship applications from students who will graduate this year or have graduated in the past or obtained a GED from Arlington, Boardman, Condon, Echo, Fossil, Heppner, Hermiston, Ione, Irrigon, Monument, Pendleton, Pilot Rock, Spray, Stanfield, Ukiah or Umatilla high schools.

    Students must attend an accredited college, university, community college, vocational, trade or technical program based in Oregon; exceptions may be made if the training they seek is not offered in Oregon.

    Applications may be obtained on their website, from high school counselors, at Blue Mountain Community College, or by contacting Tracy Gammell at rglfoundation@qwest.net.

    BMCC Foundation Scholarships BMCC Foundation Scholarships

    BMCC Foundation offers several scholarship opportunities annually to applicants who meet various criteria, some of which are the following: 

    • have a minimum 2.0 GPA
    • are degree-seeking
    • are registered full-time (12+ credits) 

    To access the application you will need to have: 

    • completed the BMCC admission process
    • obtained your BMCC ID
    • been assigned a student email address

    Beef Northwest Scholarships Beef Northwest Scholarships

    If you have a child that will be attending a Trade School, Jr. college or University for the upcoming 2022-2023 year, they can apply to receive a BNW sponsored scholarship to assist with tuition costs. Scholarships will be paid directly to the institution.

    Requirements for Applicants:

    • Applicants are required to be the dependent of a full-time employee who has worked for BNW for at least one year.
    • Applicants must be in good standing with their educational institution to be eligible.
    • Applicants must apply each year for the renewal scholarship, max of renewal up to three years.

    Amazon Web Services 2022 Scholarships are open! 

    Eligible applicants must:

    • Be a current, public, private or home-schooled high school senior attending school in Morrow County, Umatilla County, be a Member of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (“CTUIR”) & Nixyaawii School. 
    • Plan to enroll in full-time or part-time undergraduate study at an accredited non-profit public or private two-year or four-year college, university or vocational technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.
    • Plan to major in an eligible "STEM" field of study (science, technology, engineering and mathematics)

    Pendleton Cattle Barons Scholarships Pendleton Cattle Barons Scholarships

    The Pendleton Cattle Barons Scholarship Program was designed to benefit students pursuing agricultural careers. Our past scholarship recipients have achieved degrees that led to careers such as agricultural business owners, large animal veterinarians and even agricultural lawyers among others. ‚Äč

    100% of the proceeds of the Pendleton Cattle Barons Weekend create scholarships for regional students attending college and majoring in agriculture. Within the last few years, Pendleton Cattle Barons weekend event was able to raise in excess of $25,000.00 for our scholarship program!

    Community Counseling Solutions Scholarships Community Counseling Solutions Scholarships

    We are pleased to invite anyone seeking a career in psychology, counseling, school counseling, social work, or nursing to apply for a CCS scholarship. Up to six $2,000 scholarships will be awarded each year. Must be a resident of Morrow, Grant, Gilliam, or Wheeler County.

    Community Women's Club Scholarships Community Women's Club Scholarships

    Community Women’s Club is again offering scholarships to graduating Seniors at Riverside and Irrigon High Schools. One $1,500 scholarship and one $750 scholarship will be awarded to students in each of the two schools.

    These scholarships are available to students seeking higher education in either a Vocational School or a College of their choice. Applicants will be judged on community service, difficulty of completed classes, grades and school activities.
