    The Paycheck Protection Program
If you’re like me and you run a small business, you could qualify for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).

This looks to be a promising opportunity for small business owners and solopreneurs to recoup some of the damages inflicted by the economic and social effects of COVID-19 and the subsequent government response.

More than 860,000 people rely on the Oregon Food Bank Network each year — and food assistance needs rise each day with the widening reach of COVID-19. Friends and neighbors who already faced significant economic challenges now increasingly bear the brunt of this crisis.
As needs increase, we also see people uniting around shared values of community, generosity and human dignity. Throughout our region, as we look to one another for support, we are building collective power that’s capable of ending hunger for good. The outpouring of support for this work has been incredible, and some of our region’s best known brands have joined thousands of people to contribute to our COVID-19 response. They hope to inspire others to collectively match their giving through the link abov.

Our team is working hard to keep nutritious food flowing to people facing hunger throughout the region. And as the needs of our communities evolve each day, we’re evolving our food sourcing and distribution efforts to match. This has required a shift toward distribution-ready pantry staples from the food industry that are even more critical as people stay home to help save lives.
If you work in the food or packaging industry and are interested in supporting our COVID-19 response efforts, we want to hear from you! We’re sourcing additional materials and services from businesses to move meal-building foods from warehouse to table as quickly as possible— especially boxes and to-go containers.
Join the Community-wide Effort to #EmergeStronger
Oregon Food Bank is ready to tackle the COVID-19 public health crisis head-on. And with your continued support, we have the opportunity to #EmergeStronger as we rebuild together.
Help create a future where all of us — in rural and urban communities alike — have food, healthcare, housing and economic security.   SIGN THE PETITION
