The Boardman Community Development Association (BCDA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening and enhancing the community of Boardman. BCDA focuses on advancing housing development, supporting commercial and real estate opportunities, expanding workforce training, and investing in community beautification efforts that improve quality of life.

BCDA works collaboratively with local organizations, business leaders, and residents to support thoughtful, progressive development and long-term economic vitality in Boardman.

Our Mission

Beautify and increase the livability of the Boardman community focusing on housing, commercial and retail development, and workforce training. The association collaborates with other organizations, municipalities, business leaders and residents to support progressive development in the community.

The Boardman Community Development Association (BCDA) offers a $5,000 home buyer grant to eligible buyers who purchase a home within the Boardman 97818 zip code.

How It Works

To qualify, applicants must provide BCDA with a fully executed Real Estate Sales Agreement. Once approved, grant funds will be reserved for up to 90 days. Funds will be disbursed at the time of closing or shortly after closing, following receipt of required documentation.

Dog Park Development – Creating a dedicated, safe space for pets and their owners to enjoy the outdoors together.

Public Metal Art Installations – Showcasing creativity and local identity through artistic features around the city.
